Reviews for Ai Bozzi
Review highlights
Based on 1,628 reviewsAi Bozzi, an Italian restaurant located in Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood, is frequently praised for its innovative take on traditional Italian cuisine, particularly its lasagna and dessert offerings. Diners appreciate the elevated dining experience, with many highlighting the quality and creativity of the dishes, especially the seafood and seasonal ingredients. The complimentary welcome dishes and aperitifs add a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. While the atmosphere and food receive high marks, some guests note that the meat dishes can be less impressive and the service occasionally lacks attentiveness. Despite a higher price point, most patrons consider the experience worth the cost, appreciating the welcoming ambiance and accommodating staff.
The food is a new and interesting take on traditional Italian food. Way more elevated from the touristy spots around both taste and atmosphere wise. The meat dishes are kind of lacklustre but the Lasagna and desserts are amazing. Cocktails are classic and okay. They also give a complimentary welcome dish which is nice. It is expensive but worth it. The waiters are not that attentive and we couldve used a couple more check-ins throughout the dinner though. I came in here three times and this was the case every time.
A great meal in Trastevere, with a banging lasagna and tasty starters! We also had a welcome aperitivo from the chef, which made our meal an even tastier one!
This place was recommended to us through a friend, but we hesitate a bit to book as we read some negative reviews here! We were so glad that we didn’t take them into consideration and we ended up having one of the best dinners we’ve had during our stay in Rome! Every dish we had was full of exquisite flavors, and the staff were friendly especially that we had 2 Infants with us, they accommodated really well. Ai Bozzi is definitely a must!
One of our best dining experiences in Rome. We tried the 5 course degustation menu and everything was amazing! The food, the service, the ambience- 10/10.
10 out of 10 experience! We absolutely loved the cuisine and the overall vibe of the restaurant. To start, we had the Tuna Tartar with panzanella and the Baked eggplant with melon, tomatoes, and primo sale cheese. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Lasagna Bozzi style, Homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and black truffle burrata, and Grilled octopus with roasted pepper and chicory. Every single dish was exceptional—beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, not crowded, but not empty either. I highly recommend this place and will definitely save it for my next visit to Rome!
No mention of gluten free in the reviews, but we took a chance and they were FAB about helping with the menu and even brought me some gluten free baguette along with other bread. BF loved the bacon artichoke fettuccine and I enjoyed the sea bass with vegetables- best broccoli of my life. Lovely, relaxed yet upscale atmosphere with a great covered outdoor area for rainy days!
I highly reccomend thia place...the food is a poetry...the serving is at superlative...the owner reccomend top wines that fits with food...i returned several times and it was like i returned to my friends... i reccomend the tasting menu ... the price quality proportion is really good... trust me i am a gourmand that enjoy quality food
Amazing restaurant - such lovely food and attentive service. Not too creative but visually lovely and good portions. It was so good that we went back the next night for our Anniversary dinner. Lovely wine list with a nice range of choices. Interior was very lovely and modern, very unexpected. Thanks to the entire team for such a lovely double experience!
